A Barnsley chop is a cross-section taken from right across the lamb’s loin. This produces a double-sided chop with a bone in the middle and a little fillet underneath. Since it’s cut across the saddle, it’s sometimes referred to as a saddle chop. Double rib chops yield a thicker piece of meat than single chops, and are more forgiving with cooking time if you like your lamb rare or medium rare.
Italian meatballs, serve with spaghetti and some sauce for an instant meal, marinade in sauce, cooked in a pot or roasted however you decide to cook them they are always tasty and quick too, grat alternatives for putting on BBQ skewers in the summer months

Our sausages are made by combining the finest meats with natural herbs and spices. We supply a wide range of specialist sausages, all of which can be tailored to requirement. We also offer a full range of seasonal game products including Venison, Pheasant, Woodcock and Partridge. All sourced from the West Dean and other local estates.

Orders can be placed over the phone on 01243 784 299 with one of our team Monday to Saturday from 6:30am to 5pm; alternatively they can be left on our 24 hour answering machine.
All orders will be prepared fresh on the day of delivery by one of our experienced staff and carefully transported in our own refrigerated vehicles to preserve the freshness of your purchase.
If you would like something prepared in a particular way please let us know and our skillful butchers will meet your exact needs.
